Pavetech Limited is a 100% nationally owned company, officially registered on December 12, 2014, under Papua New Guinea's Companies Act 1997. The company was established to meet the growing demands for high-quality Civil Engineering Works and Construction services for both individual and corporate clients within the Civil Engineering Construction industry.

Pavetech Limited has a proven track record, successfully engaging as a sub-consultant to Insight Project Delivery on the Exxon Mobil Tax Credit Scheme funded project from Tari to Komo. We have also fostered strong partnerships with other reputable consultants, including MOO Engineers, Macovs Ltd, Lopia & Associates, and Ipwenz Constructions Ltd.

Currently, Pavetech Limited provides project management consultancy for Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) on their Tax Credit funded road upgrading and sealing projects. Furthermore, the firm delivers essential construction materials testing services to a diverse clientele across Port Moresby, Tabubil, and other regional centers. The principal of Pavetech Limited is Mr. Maling Ambranga, who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Post Graduate Master of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering from the Papua New Guinea University of Technology. Mr. Ambranga brings extensive experience in engineering project procurement, construction management, and supervision.

While Mr. Maling Ambranga is the sole owner of the company, Pavetech Limited strategically collaborates with highly qualified and experienced partners as and when required to ensure optimal project delivery.

1. Project Management Consultancy Services

Project proposal and business case development for District and Provincial Governments, aligning with DNPM Guidelines for funding.
Project Design – Provision of Civil and Structural, Water Supply and Sewerage, and Building Designs.
Project scoping and technical documentation.
Provision of risk assessments and mitigation measures.
Project Procurement – Preparation of tender documents, technical evaluations, and contract preparation in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and relevant technical specifications for Civil Engineering and Building works.
Road and Bridge Asset Inventory for costing and budgeting purposes.
Preparation of project costing and duration, including associated cash flow for budgeting and funding appropriations.
Construction Management – Contract administration and project supervision, including QA/QC, assessment and certification of claims for payment, project reporting, and completion reports.
Provision of Health, Environmental, and Safety Management plans associated with construction.

2. Geotechnical Material Laboratory Testing Services

Field density testing of constructed embankments, including pavements, and in-situ testing of soil for foundation designs.
Various laboratory testing of soil for Civil Engineering purposes including California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Liquid Limit, Linear Shrinkage, Grading, Aggregate Average Least Dimension (ALD) determination, Los Angeles Abrasion (LA) testing, etc., in accordance with Australian Standard (AS) Testing Methods and the Department of Works Specification for materials.
